Help us to further our mission to raise public awareness about Asperger Syndrome, to advocate for improved education and services, and to provide support and information to the Asperger community. ASCEND Group does not endorse any specific professional or therapeutic treatment. We are not meant to be a replacement for medical or legal advice.

Professional Membership benefits include*:

• Free admission to bi-monthly speaker meetings for up to 5 members of the organization (we will charge a $5 admission to non-members for some speaker meetings).
• A twice-yearly newsletter with national and regional news about Asperger Syndrome.
• Inclusion in the ASCEND Membership Directory (Organizational section).
• A copy of the Organizational section of the membership directory (Organizational members will not have access to the Family section of the directory).

*An “Educator” is defined as an employee of a School District, Intermediate Unit, or private school (including religious institution) who is charged with teaching individuals with Asperger Syndrome or other Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD) academic, social, religious, or life-skills. For the sake of membership, the term educator also includes individuals employed by the above-listed organizations who are administrators, guidance counselors, or psychologists and who oversee or train those who directly instruct individuals with ASDs.
